Microsoft is considered to become focusing on a bunch of refinements for the Windows 10 Start menu, and also the company itself teases this small update every so often.
Recently, the company published what seem to screenshots with its refined Start menu on Facebook, once again with no ETA as to whenever we might get our hands on it.
For the time being, however, each one of these teasers seem to suggest that we're set for only a minor makeover from the Start menu, and when anything, we might get refreshed icons and small changes to the live tiles.
But an idea published on Twitter by vGLAD pushes things even more, imagining a much more modern version of the beginning menu.
Modern design indeed
While I won't talk too much by what your eyes can easily see, worth highlighting is the new live tile design, which seems to merge the beginning menu look a lot more seamlessly. And without a doubt, this Windows 10X-inspired Start menu would really take advantage of the new icon pack that Microsoft has debuted, so overall, it's one modern bit of technology that Windows 10 deserves.
Microsoft, however, still remains tight-lipped on this refreshed version of the Start menu. Even though the first teaser was published months ago, nobody knows without a doubt when it could go love users.
The following Windows 10 feature update is due within the fall as version 20H2, while the next big release is scheduled to occur in the spring of 2021.
For the moment, however, no such change is happening within the preview builds of Windows 10 within the Windows Insider Program, so only Microsoft may be the one that knows when the updated Start menu is supposed to land for users in a stable build of the OS.
